“Nova”

Director Joyce Tsang’s debut as a narrative director, “Nova” is a short film meant to encourage young women to pursue careers in STEM fields. Set in 1977 and 1994, Nova is about a girl who dreams of the cosmos and has an impactful encounter with renowned astronomer Dr. Sandra Faber.
